Hopkins Association for Stroke Awareness (HASA)
Founder & Faculty Mentor
Founded and continue to mentor this student organization dedicated to stroke education and awareness. Coordinated Stroke Questionnaire and Assessment Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital Emergency Room, and established a Stroke Education Class and Volunteer Program at JHH Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
★ Raised over $5,000 for the American Stroke Association 'Train to End Stroke' marathon (Kona, HI, June 2005)
Orange County Science and Engineering Fair
Volunteer Judge
Evaluating student science projects and providing mentorship to young scientists exploring STEM fields. Supporting the next generation of researchers and innovators.
California Science and Engineering Fair
Volunteer Judge
Serving as a judge at the state level, assessing student research projects and encouraging scientific inquiry among California's brightest young minds.
Refugee Youth Project
Mentor
Mentored refugee youth, helping them navigate their new environment and providing academic and personal support during their transition to life in the United States.
